Well it's been a fantastic unit and I have learnt so much it will be sad to leave the unit. It has been a great journey through my development of technology knowledge, I have learnt things that I didnt know where even out there before. I would just like to thank my unit co-ordinator and tutor through the unit they have been great.

Here is a great tool for anyone wanting to take a screen capture and I highly recommend downloading this tool because unlike other screen capture tools this tool gives the ability to do a "free-form snip", which means you control the exact area you want and not just the use of a rectangle area.

It's that time again, another assingment down and one I am very proud of aswell. Our group worked really hard to organise and perfect our task, which i think has rewarded us with a very neat finished product. We had decided that our task topic would be fundament movement skills or FMS as our whole group is doing a physical education degree and we would benefit us the most to choose this topic. I beleive that by choosing this topic we had the passion to complete it to the best of our ability because we knew it would be beneficial to us as teachers long term if we had a polished product. Currently working on my part to task 3a, which is the authentic learning aspect to the task. I am really enjoying the sorts of teaching ideas that I am getting from this assingment, which will be fueling my ideas for future teaching experiences and my practicals that are ahead of me. The website made by Jan Herrington explaing the nine elements of authentic learning has also given me a few tips on ways I could improve my own site aswell as clearly explaining authentic learning. Task 3a is group project where we are to create an authetic learning environment on an educational topic. The task is to be presented on a wikispace which is something I personally have never used before so I am a little nervous about using this technology. I like that this project is to be done in groups because I always enjoy doing something in a group over doing it by yourself because you get more points of views and better creative ideas.

Very excited to have finished one more task even if there was some struggles along the way. What I learnt and what I gained from this was great ideas for future teaching, a better understanding of endnote and a shock how far technology has come. A few silly errors may cost me marks in this assingment however as I stupidly forgot to save my work as a PDF file before sending it to my email costing me my correct citations. 

What can I say it's been interesting with the lectures being online this online week. It's been great to have a more of a relaxed mood to the week by not having to come into Murdoch. However its also been a challenge as I feel that just from viewing the lectures you just don't get that same experience from being there. Anyway time to sign off got some work to do to finish task 2 ahead of me.

Currently working on my next task with endnote and I am really excited and looking forward to it. I believe that endnote will be a very helpful tool for years to come, so I can't wait to start using it. I can't recommend this tool enough its great. Also just added my first screenshot into my blog, which was good to play around with. On my mac it was fairly simple it was command+shift+4 to take an area of the screen I wanted 

It has incredibly frustrating these past few days trying to add my video to my website for my instructions. I had to end up giving up with the movie aspect for my draft and just upload some basic instructions. I have tried everything to upload the movie such as trial and error with every single format I could think of and also have tried for peer help for ideas on how they think I could fix my problem. I am just hoping that I can find a way to upload the movie for the final assessment. Although it has been disappointing I am very glad to have learnt from this lesson and I am very happy to finally see something go up in assessment HQ.

Its been a very up and down week for me personally. On the positive side of things I have been really enjoying this assessment and have learnt a lot of new and interesting technologies such as imovie and jing. However there has been a few negatives that haven't been beneficial this week such as my ankle injury during football causing me to hop around everywhere(very frustrating) but the award for most frustrating thing to happen this week is trying to upload my imovie and creating the movie. I am still experiencing troubles uploading the movie but I'm hoping by tonight or tomorrow the movie will be uploaded.
