Teacher Project

In task 3a I worked in a group of four with Gavin Davies, Jarryd Horesly, Luke Gonnella and myself on the topic of fundamental movement skills. I was very pleased with our efforts and our final product https://edn113-2012-groupproject.wikispaces.com/FMS+home+page.

 

Task 3: Teaching and learning technologies
Format: Wiki, blog, presentation, website and other forms as appropriate

Assignment details:  
In Task 3, you will explore technologies appropriate to teaching and learning, and create an authentic learning environment to share with other teachers:
 13.Complete a group task where you create a small sharable educational resource on an educational topic of your choosing.
14.Create your resource as an authentic learning environment on a wiki (3-5 pages)
 15.Ensure you clearly introduce your educational topic and the target student group (cohort) it would be suitable for.
 16.Include links to resources including at least one of each of the following: a.Interactive whiteboard resources (such as from the Learning Federation)
 b.Websites
 c.Movies or podcasts (e.g., YouTube, TeacherTube, iTunes, etc)
 d.Documents (such as articles in pdf format)
 e.Social networking sites (such as Facebook, ScoopIT, Diigo, Delicious, etc.)
 
17.Create a PowerPoint or KeyNote presentation on the making of the resource, to be presented by groups in tutorials and online in Week 12.
 18.Link your wiki and presentation to your personal/professional website (portfolio) created in Assignment 1.
 19.Finalise and polish your personal/professional website as a portfolio of your work in the unit and a resource for your future teaching. Include links to a range of other sites and resources you have found or used during the unit.
 20.Continue to comment in your blog about the process of creating your wiki, and reflections on your learning in the unit.

Assessment criteria:
8.Creation of an authentic learning resource in the form of a wiki, and presented in class or online (20%)
